New! Special Potato Oven Baked Dish
2 lb. package of frozen hash brown potatoes
8oz. carton of sour cream
8oz. stick of sharp cheese
1 stick or 1/4lb. of melted oleo
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 medium onion or onion flakes as desired
Mix all ingredients together in an open flat pan. Sprinkle crushed
potato chips over the top and bake for 45 or 50 minutes at 375 degrees
in oven. Its really very delicious and very tasty..everyone is crazy
about them....Try 'em, you'll like them! Enjoy!

Spinach Sensation
1/2 lb. bacon slices
1 cup (8oz.) sour cream
3 eggs, seperated
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach,thawed & squeezed dry
1/2 cup (2oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
Red bell pepper slices and fresh herbs, optional
Preheat oven to 375. Spray 9 inch deep dish pie plate with non-stick cooking spray; set aside. Place bacon in single layer in large skillet; cook over medium heat until crisp. Remove from skillet; drain on paper towels. Crumble and set aside. Combine sour cream, egg yolks, flour and black pepper in large bowl. Beat egg whites in medium bowl with mixer at high speed until stiff peaks form. Stir one fourth of egg whites into sour cream mixture; fold in remaining egg whites. Arrange half of spinach in prepared dish. Top with half of sour cream mixture. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese. Sprinkle half of bacon over cheese. Repeat layers, ending with bacon. Combine bread crumbs and margarine in small bowl; sprinkle evenly over cheese. Bake, uncovered 25-30 minutes or until egg mixture is set. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Raspberry Jello
1 pkg. jello
raspberries 10 oz.
1 cup applesauce
Boiling H20
Mini Marshmellows
Sour Cream
Dissolve jello in H20 according to package directions. Add applesauce & raspberries. Let set. Top with 1/2 pint sour cream mixed with 2 cups of mini marshmellows. (We usually double this recipe for when we have company).
Banana Bread
Cream together:
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup shortening
1 cup = 2 mashed bananas
2 eggs
2T. milk
Beat sugar & shortening till light. Add eggs. Add flour mixture below, till smooth. Fold in nuts. Put in lightly greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes*.
Sift together:
2 cups flour
1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Dash of salt
